NAUTICAL
Nautical sector: we are a point of reference
We are a point of reference for needs related to the nautical sector: we offer an important variety of products, including braids and mooring ropes, in natural and synthetic materials, floating braids and ropes, caulking ropes and materials for boat ornaments.
Textile rigging, compared to steel ropes, is lighter for the same tensile strength, more resistant to salt and more practical for storage below deck.
Ropes or braids are used as required and it is essential to choose the right type of material to achieve the best result.
Nautical rope
Rope is the most classic and traditional of the ropes with which it is possible to equip a boat; it is made up of 3 or 4 strands of wood with or without kernels (double twisted), generally in synthetic fibres or, to preserve a more traditional style, in natural fibres such as linen, jute, sisal, manila (abaca) etc etc.
Nautical braid
Textile rigging also includes nautical braid, which, unlike rope, has a tubular appearance. Braids generally consist of an inner core and an outer sock, each of which has its own specific function: the sock must ensure a secure grip and must resist abrasion, while the core, which is not externally visible, is responsible for tensile strength, fatigue resistance and elongation.
